Come and see us at Monks Eleigh for houseplants including orchids, Hyacinths, cacti & succulents as well as cut flowers, pre-planted gift baskets, Christmas Roses (Hellebore), easy-care shrubs and much more!
Fresh from the fields, and straight into pots of compost and fertiliser at our Newbourne nursery Katie's Garden: our new range of ornamental and fruit trees! These will be £26-£29, but buy before Christmas and pay just £20 each. Due to space constraints we will not keep any in stock at Monks Eleigh, so please email your choices and we will arrange to have them delivered to Bridge Farm Plants.
Includes apples, pears, plums, fruiting cherries, flowering cherries, crabapples, rowans, birch and more. For full list visit our trees page or click on the files below.
Trees establish particularly well when planted in winter when they are dormant and not putting energy into growing leaves, flowers or fruits. Give them a good drink before planting, and at least once a week during their first year (nature might help out at this time of year!). Staking can help stop the roots being rocked. Ideally fruits should be removed as soon as they appear for the first couple of years so the plant can focus on root growth.
It might be November but the plants keep coming at Bridge Farm Plants!
The first potted Christmas trees are now in - for those who can't wait to get into the festive spirit!
And if you are looking for something to put in your pots now that your summer bedding plants have finished, we have a great range of shrubs that could fit the bill. Our selection includes Rhododendrons, Azaleas, Camellias, Skimmias and Viburnums. All are easy-care, winter-hardy, happy in pots and many keep their leaves all year round. Great as gifts for gardeners!
Now that the weather has cooled enough it is bareroot season. We can obtain a variety of hedging plants from parent nursery Katie's Garden. Take a look at our hedging page for more information.
Our parent nursery Katie's Garden Place Centre has lots of new stock to come in November and December which will be available on request at Bridge Farm Plants.
