Trees
Due to space restrictions we do not keep many trees in stock at Bridge Farm Plants. However, we can have them sent over from our nursery supplier, Katie's Garden Plant Centre, which has a range of fruit trees and ornamental trees.
These include a good few varieties of Apples (Malus) - both cooking and dessert – to suit most tastes, as well as Pear (Pyrus), Plum, Cherry, Golden Gage (Prunus) and more.

Our apple trees are grown on the MM106 semi-dwarfing rootstock, which limits their height to around 10-13ft, with the plums grown on St Julian A meaning they are likely to reach an ultimate height of 14-18ft. Most of the specimens we sell are already at least 5ft tall.
To ensure a good upright habit the trees should be staked for the first few years. Container grown trees can be planted at any time of year, except for when the soil is very wet or very dry .
Our range of ornamental trees can include Flowering Cherry (Prunus), Honey Locust (Gleditsia), Mountain Ash (Sorbus), Silver Birch (Betula), Willow (Salix), Hawthorn (Crataegus), Japanese Rowan (Sorbus), Maple (Acer) and Flowering Crab (Malus). As with the fruit trees, our specimens are a minimum of 4/5ft tall, and should be staked to begin with.
Delivery in the local area may be possible for a small charge.
