Temporary road closures this Saturday

A top pro cycle tour is passing through Monks Eleigh this Saturday! The Suffolk leg of the AJ Bell Women’s Tour will see some of the world’s top riders racing through the roads and lanes of our fabulous county.

The race is set to pass through Sudbury at around 12.30pm and head along the B1115 Waldingfield Road to reach Monks Eleigh for around 12.50pm.

The riders, support vehicles and camera crews will continue on to Bildeston where they will turn off on to the B1078 to Wattisham Airfield and then onward to Stowmarket and Needham Market.
 
So. If you would like to see the spectacle, get yourself in place ahead of time, maybe with snacks to go from Corncraft (we’ll have a glancing view from the back of the plant centre!)!

And if you don’t want to get caught in the rolling road blocks, plan to come and see us earlier or later in the day!

Access from Hadleigh direction should not be affected.
