We are back for 2024!

1/3/2024

Spring is here and so are we!

We are back open seven days a week, 10am to 4pm, with extended opening hours once the clocks change.

You can look forward to a wide selection of garden plants courtesy of Suffolk nursery Katie's Garden, alongside our usual handy hints to help you pick the right plants for the job!

Whether you want little splashes of colour for brightening up your borders right now, something for a pot, flowers for spring, for summer, for fragrance, or plants for year-round interest you should find something that fits the bill at our Monks Eleigh plant centre!

Our lean-to is packed with Primroses and Polyanthus in nearly every shade you can think of and as larger plants than many places sell.
We have got lots of plants for the pollinators - and have already been visited by some sizable bumblebees while setting up!

Our gorgeous Hellebores have drawn their attention - prices starting at just £4.99, with more available in the Flourish rewards range, as have the fragrant Skimmia shrubs.

Many of our spring-flowering bulbs are great for the bees, including Alliums, Crocus, Hyacinths and Muscari (grape hyacinth). Snowdrops are 'in the green' and ready for planting.

We have lots of dwarf Daffodils to choose from, perfect for pots, rockeries, raised beds and fronts of borders. Much tidier than their taller relatives and often longer flowering too.

The alpines are already starting to bud and flower and we hope to increase the range very soon.

You can get planting for summer colour with our Clematis & climbers, our Roses, Lavenders and cottage garden perennials - all plants that should come back year after year.

If you are looking for easy-care options for your flowerbeds - and especially if you want something with substance - shrubs are the way to go.

Among our opening choice we have Rhodendrons, Hebes, Abelias, Forsythias, Ceanothus and much more beside, including limited numbers of cherry blossom, Magnolias, Camellias, and Pieris.
